Our mission is to help student athletes recognize, develop, and apply the connections among five key elements — Academics, Attitude, Accountability, Athletics, and Achievement. — to enrich their lives along with those of their parents, families and communities, and to assist them in becoming happy, healthy, successful, contributing adults.
We are stern believers in the great saying "GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE". A very very big huge 📣📣📣📣📣S/O 📣📣📣 to @gaiam, @lookitbee and the SALAAM family for having their contacts donate over one thousand dollars worth of stability balls, small foam rollers, large foam, yoga mats and massage roller sticks to our organization so that our kids can learn how to better take care of their bodies. This all started from Durojaiye Salaam ( Kuba's Dad) (certified personal and strength coach) noticing that some of our kids lacked mobility, explosiveness, and stamina during some our practices and tournaments. He then used some of his personal equipment and incorporated into our practices and before game warmups. Instantly all the parents and players notice a huge difference in the players speed, quickness, awareness, reaction and strength after just a few weeks of using his strategic system. So he and his wonderful wife @lookitbee took it upon themselves to get all 4 of our teams industry leading equipment in health-n-wellness and preventive maintenance arena.
We are floored with the amount of support we have experienced so far in just our second year. What started out as a dream, a way for me (Daniel CEO) to establish a positive communication foundation with my son (Jayden). Has been met with a forever ending brotherhood with (DJ Anthony COO). To making life friendships and extended families (5A parents). Big S/O to our 8th grade boys for winning their first chip of the season. 1st game was a land slide, but the 2nd game was a bit of challenge with us going down by 15 at the start of the game. Instead of calling timeout to kill the other teams momentum, our coaching staff decided to let them play through it. By doing so, we came storming back with a 18-0 run of our own to take lead and @hola_dylan caught @mellamojonas streaking down court for a buzzer beater to cap off that late first half run.
Second half we pretty much controlled the game with strategic man 2 man help defense, rebounding and controlling all 50/50 plays to overwhelm our opponent with tuffness to help us secure the win.
We are most proud of these guy because they don't dwell on trophies and championships. They hold true to our final principle in our 5A philosophy: ACHEIVEMENT- Every student athlete will understand the importance of recognition for their accomplishments, but also displaying and encouraging a non-ostentatious attitude to push forward for further achievement. ...
